Marching Mustangs
The Merritt Island High School Marching Mustangs are the premier performing ensemble of the MIHS Band Program, representing our school and community with pride, excellence, and tradition. Open to students in grades 9–12, the marching band combines exceptional musicianship, precision marching, and dynamic visual performance to create unforgettable halftime shows and competitive productions.
Throughout the season, the Marching Mustangs perform at football games, community events, parades, music festivals, and regional competitions, while developing leadership, teamwork, discipline, and lifelong friendships. Supported by dedicated directors, staff, volunteers, and the Band Booster Organization, our students strive for excellence both on and off the field as they continue a proud tradition of Mustang spirit.
