Leading the Merritt Island High School Band Booster Organization

 

The Merritt Island High School Band Booster Organization is led by a dedicated team of volunteer officers who are committed to supporting our students, directors, and music programs. Together, they oversee the organization's operations, fundraising efforts, finances, volunteer coordination, and strategic planning to ensure the continued success of the band program.

Our Board works in partnership with the band directors, parents, alumni, and community supporters to create exceptional opportunities for every student musician.

The Merritt Island High School Band Booster Organization is always looking for dedicated parents and community members to help strengthen our program. Serving on the Board or leading a committee is a rewarding way to support our students while making a lasting impact on the future of our band programs.

 

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following positions:

  • Concessions Coordinator - Oversees concession operations, coordinates volunteers, and helps manage inventory during football games and events.

  • Travel Coordinator - Assists with organizing transportation, lodging, itineraries, and logistics for band trips and competitions.

  • Media & Communications Coordinator - Supports website updates, social media, photography, and promoting band events throughout the community.

  • Hospitality Coordinator - Organizes meals, refreshments, and hospitality for students, volunteers, clinicians, and special events.
